Here, "AI" means a generative LLM such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.
Loop Foundry as an organisation:
- Loop Foundry will never publish any marketing or sales material generated wholly or substantially by a large language model.
- Loop Foundry will never deliver to clients any material of any kind (whether that be emails, reports, documentation, source code, software, imagery and other resources, or anything else) that has been generated wholly or substantially by a large language model.
- Loop Foundry will not develop AI systems or integrate AI into software we write. However, on request we will build MCP-compatible APIs.
- Where possible, Loop Foundry will seek to support creators of all kinds who do not use AI in their work.
Employees and subcontractors of Loop Foundry:
- Employees and subcontractors of Loop Foundry may use an LLM to help deliver their work (simply because modern Google search results make it impossible to avoid).
- Employees and subcontractors must document or declare to their manager any substantive work performed by an LLM.
When using AI:
- LLMs running locally within Loop Foundry’s network will always be preferred.
- When using external LLMs provided by a third-party, every effort will be made to ensure that all data is processed and stored within Australia.
